Filming locations in France 

The list of great places to film in France can be made long. As one of Europe’s most scenic places, the whole of France feels like one big film set. Here you will find the historical monuments of Paris, the beautiful river Seine and all the picturesque streets with restaurants and cafes. Of course, there is also the south of France with the French Riviera, which is pretty much as famous on screen as Paris. Not least for the sparkling Mediterranean and the high mountains, but also for the iconic cities of Cannes, Nice and Monte Carlo.

Permits

Filming in France is easy and you’ll find that you have plenty of locations to pick and choose from. If you are uncertain of whether you need a filming permit or not, just drop us an email with info about your shoot and we’ll sort things out! 

The weather in France

France has a largely temperate climate with regional variations. In the northern regions you’ll find heavy snowfalls in winter and a warm climate with occasional rainfall in the summer. The central regions are humid whereas the south is dry and hot. The warmest and most reliable weather is from April to June.
